Lately my life has been on autopilot. Really is has been. Monday started the third week of second semester. Now, only if it will go by a little faster.
This is how I’ve been operating. My alarm wakes me up at 7am. Well, not exactly. I then click the next alarm that I have set for 7:15am. I get that extra 15 minutes of sleep. I play a trick on myself every morning by letting myself think that I am sleeping an extra 15 minutes! Then at 7:15 the second alarm rings. The first thought that crosses my mind every single morning is, “I am soo tiredddd! I can’t wait to come home & nap!!” I don’t get out of bed quit yet. You see it’s a slow process that I follow. I then lay in bed & check my phone for emails & the weather…
FINALLY at 7:30am I jump out of bed & I start my day. I have an hour to follow my morning ritual- which I won’t bore you with. I then wait at the bus stop for the 8:3oam bus. I still find it completely weird that I ride the bus to school! I’ve never rode a bus till this school year. Truth is I really don’t mind riding it.
I then have classes ALL day. One of the best parts of my day is getting on the 3:45 bus to go home. By the time I get back into my house it’s around 4:15. I grab a quick snack and then I nap for a few hours. Seriously at least 2 hours. Then I go to the gym. Come home shower and eat dinner around 8pm.
I have made the worse schedule for myself but hey it works.
school.snack.nap.gym.dinner.relax (till 2am usually… or incases like tonight.. it’s already 3am) It’s the same thing every darn day. Well not Tuesdays & Thursdays, luckily I don’t start my day till 10am on those two days.
I so wish I only had classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays…
One more random note. Today marks one week of me being a vegetarian. I’ll preach on that one later this week.
Anyways, I’ll leave you with a picture of me & one of my roommates, Jessie. This was taken from over the weekend.
