One of the best things about being in Michigan is all of the farmers markets. There is one less than five minutes away from my house. Since I am determined to eat my 5-a-day servings of veggies & fruit, I stopped by the market with my friend Katie. I picked up a lot of yummy goodies;
- Honey Crisp Apples
- Fresh Green Beans
- Brussel Sprouts
I had to stop at the grocery store after the market because I’ve been on a zucchini kick lately & the farmers market had none! Tomorrow night for dinner I am going to make squash spaghetti. I have been reading a lot of different recipes for squash spaghetti, so tomorrow night I am going to give it a shot & see how it turns out. I’ve never tried it before…but it’s nothing but healthy so I’ll give it a try!
